Registration conditions for participants
You can only register for the Pre Course under the following conditions:
REGARDING REGISTRATIONS AND CANCELLATIONS:
Registration can only be done online and only the fully and correctly completed registrations will be processed. You can register on the basis of the composite conference packages. A maximum of 1 person can use a package. Options on reservations or registration for parts of a package and pre-reservations are not possible.
You are obliged to:
- Provide correct email addresses, cost center numbers, etc. This applies to both your own email address and the email address of the department of
the institution that will possibly pay your invoice. Incorrect email addresses or set filters can in the worst case lead to deletion of your registration, because we receive the e-mails sent to you as "undeliverable".
- Checking receipt and readability of 2 documents: confirmation of registration and invoice. You will receive this immediately after registration and
by email.
- Entering your BIG number if you have one.
- Entering the numbers of the sessions you wish to attend. The sessions you choose will be listed on the "Registration List" , "Final Registration Certificate" and "Participation Certificate" that you will receive by email.
Online registration is possible up to and including Sunday 6 pm before the start of the conference.
Employees of companies that do not participate in the Pre Course as a sponsor cannot register for the conference. If this provision is violated, the person concerned will be charged an amount equal to the bronze sponsor package, plus the statutory VAT.
Cancellations and changes can only be made in writing or by email. A cancellation of participation is only valid if the participant has received a confirmation of cancellation from us by email and can submit this. Failure to log into the conference does not release the attendee from the payment obligation.
You will receive the final registration certificate and the link to log in to the conference approximately 10 working days before the start of the conference, provided your payment has been received by the organization. Registration for the Pre Course is binding, even if you have not paid on time.
Cancellation and refund of the registration fee is possible up to 15 working days before the start of the conference. Cancellations, refunds and changes are no longer possible within 15 working days before the start of the conference. Double registrations will be borne by the attendee without any exception.
Cancellation and refund due to the participant's failure to comply with the technical specifications as described in the Current Information for Participants (click here) will not be accepted.

You are only eligible for the reduced rates if you are a member of one of the participating professional associations on 1 January of the year in which the conference takes place. Persons who later become a member of one of the professional associations pay rate B.
There are 2 rates per package:
- Rate A: For members of the V&VN, VDT, DNN, VMWN, NAPA and NFN (with the exception of medical specialists) ) and
- Rate B: For medical specialists, non-members of one of the aforementioned professional associations and other persons.
From 20 September, a late booking surcharge of 25% of the applicable rate will apply to all packages.
Attendees in the Pre Course, with the exception of members of the editorial boards of the association magazines of the participating associations, are not allowed to publish the content of the scientific sessions via blogs, twitter and other (social) media without the written permission of the board of the Dutch Nephrology Days Foundation.

REGARDING THE CODES OF CONDUCT AND THE GDPR (PRIVACY LEGISLATION):
As a participant in the conference, you must observe all rules with regard to the applicable codes of conduct. Violations are sanctioned to the exclusion of further participation in the conference.
By registering you expressly agree to:
- The public publication of images (photos and video) that are being made and on which you may be visible. You also agree that the Dutch Nephrology Days Foundation will keep you informed of future training.
- The appearance of only your name, your position and employer on the list of participants which will be handed over to the sponsors. This list will not
be made public and sponsors are required not to use this list for commercial purposes.
- The use of your email address for sending all relevant conference documents and announcements of future training activities of
the Dutch Nefrology Days Foundation.
- Using your email address to send industry invitations. Invitations will be sent by the organization. Your email address will not be made available to the sponsors.
- Checking attendance during the conference, based on which it is determined whether you are entitled to your accreditation points.
The Dutch Nephrology Days Foundation will treat your personal and billing information in strict confidence and will only be made available to government agencies on the basis of statutory regulations. The Dutch Nephrology Days Foundation also uses your data exclusively for internal administrative purposes.

REGARDING PAYMENT AND COLLECTION COSTS:
After receiving your registration you will receive 2 documents by email: a confirmation of your registration and your invoice. Payment of the invoice must be made within the period stated on the invoice, in the manner indicated in the invoice and in the currency in which the invoice has been made, unless stated otherwise in writing.
Objections to an invoice must be made known to the conference secretariat within 10 days of the invoice date. Objections that do not comply with this can no longer be handled. Objections to (the amount of) an invoice do not suspend the payment obligation.
If you fail to pay an invoice on time, the participant in question will be in default by operation of law. In this case, the participant owes the statutory commercial interest, in accordance with Article 119a Rv / an interest of 2% per month on the outstanding amount until the moment of payment of the full amount due.
If you fail to ensure timely payment of the invoice, the claim will be transferred without further notice and up to 4 weeks after the conference to the bailiff office Vaessen in Sittard, municipality of Sittard-Geleen.
The costs of obtaining satisfaction out of court are for the account of the attendee. The extrajudicial costs are calculated on the basis of what is customary at that time in Dutch debt collection practice, currently the calculation method according to Rapport Voorwerk II. However, if higher collection costs were incurred that were reasonably necessary, the costs actually incurred will be eligible for reimbursement. Any judicial and execution costs are also recovered from the attendee.
