The most important questions and answers regarding the postponement of the Nephrology days in connection with the coronavirus
Why have the Nephrology days been postponed to a date when the north of the Netherlands has autumn holidays?
The date was set when there were still physical Nephrology days. Almost all of the speakers who are due to be present in March 2020 have committed to deliver their lectures on 12, 13 and 14 October 2020. Because we were unable to take the decision to organize a virtual edition of the conference until 24 June 2020, we have too little time to present a new date to all speakers. In order to guarantee the program and the accreditation points, we have chosen not to change that data anymore. I am a participant, can I cancel my participation free of charge in October? The Nephrology Days has conditions when registering as an attendee in the Pre Course. These will remain in effect and will in fact be moved to the new date. The conditions can be found elsewhere on the website, under the menu button "For attendees". I am a sponsor, can I cancel my participation in October? The Nephrology Days also applies conditions for registration and cancellation for sponsors. We will ask all sponsors who have registered so far to make every effort to be present on October 13 and 14. In principle, the "regular" registration conditions apply from the beginning. I would present an abstract or poster during the Nephrology Days. Are these presentations also postponed to October? Yes. No new abstracts will be able to be submitted and we ask all people who have submitted an accepted abstract or who would present a poster to do so in October. What should I do with my booked hotel room? We advise you to cancel any hotel rooms as soon as possible. |
