As in previous years, a number of invited speakers will cover a topical theme. These sessions are supplemented by abstracts that are submitted by (para-)medical and (junior) researchers and presented by the 1st author. More information on the themes and topics can be found under the menu “Program 2020".
All submitted abstracts are reviewed between January 26, 2020 and February 4, 2020. Whether your abstract is accepted for presentation (oral or poster) during the Nefrologiedagen depends on things like current events (when was the topic last discussed at the conference), sales, research and results. You will receive the results of this assessment by email. For you personally, writing an abstract can add valuable points to your portfolio in the quality register. The result and position in the program will be announced February 14th, 2020.
After assessing your abstract falls into one of these three presentation categories:
1. Oral abstract presentations
Speaking time is 10 minutes including discussion (about 8 minutes presentation and 2 minutes debate). This limited time means that your presentation may exist up to 8-12 slides. The chairs have the explicit instruction to request to terminate the presentation when crossing time to the respective speaker. You will find the timing of your presentation under the program (programma) button.
For the implimentation of the presentation, you will be contacted to coordinate this with you technically and logistically. Due to the presence of foreign speakers you are asked to keep the presentation in English. The paramedical abstracts will be presented in Dutch.
NB. Best price per oral abstract presentation.
Submitted abstracts automatically compete for a price of € 500,00 per category for the best abstract submitted in the categories of paramedical, clinical or basic science.
